Malediction: Whirl evoken by prayers

21/12/10  ||  Daemonomania

You Are The Target Of My Bestialism!

So says Hungary’s Malediction. Now that makes me nervous.

This is another one of those discs bought back when any death metal for under two American dollars had to be somewhat ok, right? It dwells in endless obscurity next to fucken Relentless in my pile of crappy crap that is too crappola to be included in the Daemotomes of Acrimony (album collection). No one wants you, Maledicklick. Maybe because of the bestialism, maybe because you are terrible.

This EP, clocking in at 25 minutes, features zero memorable material. The listener walks away from hearing “Toilet swirl in the sky evoken by bean burritos” with a vaguely unpleasant feeling that something crummy just took place – but he/she can’t remember exactly what it was. Kinda like that time you awoke to see a huge otherworldly light filling the room, then regained consciousness in the woods several hours later with a buzzing in your brain and a gape the size of Texas.

Anonymous 9th tier Eurodeath. I think I just made up a subgenre, and it is a heavily populated one at that. Supported by morons like me who keep buying/trading without doing the proper research. To close, another lyrical nugget from “Whirl”, according to Metal Archives:

You Got To Hell!

No, I got to take a dump.
